Talk: Wildlife Friendly Gardening Methods (No Dig etc..)

On Saturday 27th June Wild About Loddiswell, in collaboration with the Allotment Association, are organising a talk by local ecologist Felix Sadlo.  Felix has a smallholding near California Cross which he farms in a regenerative fashion, guided by organic and biodynamic principles using a no dig system. He has kindly agreed to come and give a talk to allotment holders and any gardeners in the village who are interested in learning more about the no dig system and who would like guidance as to how to garden to make their gardens or allotments more beneficial to wildlife, whilst also being very productive.

Saturday 27th June

10am to 12pm

Talk at the Pavilion, followed by refreshments and a guided tour of the allotments currently being cultivated in a wildlife friendly way, to  give you all inspiration!

Free Event - donations towards would be appreciated please

All are welcome!

A Blue Print for Loddiswell Open Day

An informal drop in day and evening. Come and have a drink, cake and a chat. See what the various clubs, societies and organisations have to offer in the village. Talk to Parish Councillors. Put your suggestions on post it notes - what could be improved in the village? What do you like about it? (Or not like about it?!) What concerns do you have?………,

This is your chance to have your say about the future of the village.

We had a great response last year, with lots of feedback, some of which has already been acted upon - there will be updates on those too.

It was a great event last year - don’t miss this one!
